The company

WHITE KNIGHT Service Group is the culmination of over 38 years experience in the property restoration and indoor built environment sector. CEO Phil Edwards started in the restoration industry back in 1984 and since that time has maintained an ethos of providing a high quality, unrivalled service founded on honesty and integrity, backed by real scientific data. 

Phil spent 10 years running disaster restoration and environmental service companies in the USA and was even a State Certified Inspector, reflecting his high level of training and expertise in the industry. Upon returning to the UK in 2014, Phil was appointed as Managing Director of a large restoration company, serving the needs of the insurance market and managing relationships with some of the largest insurers in the country. With a keen desire to drive up standards and deploy innovative processes in the industry, Phil then founded WHITE KNIGHT Service Group Ltd. 

Within the past decade WHITE KNIGHT has continued to go from strength to strength with a family oriented culture and a highly trained and committed team of people. Through its unique approach and unrivalled level of expertise, WHITE KNIGHT has grown into a company that is renowned for its wealth of knowledge and ability to find solutions for commercial and complex major loss. WHITE KNIGHT is trusted by insurance companies, surveyors, loss adjusters, property managers, corporate organisations and private customers across the UK to provide sound unbiased advice and highly effective solutions to all manner of indoor environmental issues.

Phil Edwards

CEO & Founder

As CEO & Founder of WHITE KNIGHT, Phil contributes a wealth of senior leadership experience. Having worked in manufacturing, product import/export, credit management and even the music industry, Phil’s great passion has been for his work in the disaster restoration industry, where he has developed pioneering decontamination protocols and continues to champion the use of state-of-the-art technologies. Phil is well known in the insurance industry and acts as a specialist consultant for leading insurers as well as other commercial and private clients.

Greg Rosson

Chief Technical Officer

Having worked across multiple industries, the constant thread throughout Greg’s career is a strong passion for engineering and the application of technological systems. Greg previously worked for the US Government but transferred his expertise to the disaster restoration industry, initially in the US where he developed considerable experience in fire, flood and other decontamination projects. Greg now oversees larger field and technical projects as well as the IT and technical infrastructure of the organisation. 

Chantelle Rosson

Chief Operations Officer

Having built significant experience in a range of customer service, administration and HR roles, Chantelle now serves as COO at WHITE KNIGHT. Chantelle oversees a number of critical functions including compliance, HR, contents and project scheduling. With a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high quality standards, Chantelle is also responsible for our ISO 9001 / 14001 integrated management system. 

Tracey Edwards

Chief Research Officer

Having worked in the education sector, Tracey brings a unique and varied skill set to the WHITE KNIGHT leadership team. Overseeing the contents restoration division, Tracey ensures that claims and other projects are handled with sensitivity and care and takes pride in upholding the high quality standards that are critical to our operations. Tracey is also responsible for helping to shape organisational culture and processes, and contributes to business strategy through research and market insight. 

Paul Krawczyk

Business Development Director

Paul joined WHITE KNIGHT in 2020 having built significant experience in product management, marketing and business development roles within organisations including Howdens Joinery, Topps Tiles and Snap-on Tools. Paul’s areas of responsibility include branding, marketing and business development to help WHITE KNIGHT increase awareness of its specialist services and continue to expand the customer base. As an active ‘networker’ Paul also represents the company at industry events looking for collaboration opportunities. 

Matt Herbert

Lead Consultant

Originally working in retail management, Matt decided to specialise in project management and after a significant period at Snap-on Tools, joined the WHITE KNIGHT team. Having adapted rapidly to a new industry, Matt has built up considerable experience across all of our disaster restoration and decontamination techniques, also providing surveying and consultancy services alongside Phil and Greg. Matt is also responsible for managing projects on-site, helping to develop field processes and ensuring high quality and compliance.
